Okay this has been hashed out before over several different threads, but I'd like it all compiled because not only would it help me but I think alot of people would be interested in doing a TT kit like I am. With that said help me figure out what is needed to make this happen. After it is done I will do a write up and have Trent add it to the tech section if he wishes.
To reinterate what I want; I want every accessory available, including smog, and I want to keep the sway bar.
I'll start by showing the interference problems I am expiencing with the factory brackets.
First shot is of the TTI headers. I ordered them with out wastegate ports because of an already known interference with the sway bar mounts and possibly the accessories. I'll add them later when I see where everything needs to go.

Next shots are of the interference with the fox accessories.
Passenger side. The flange sits right on the alternator. Can't see how I could bolt a turbo to it.

I know about using March brackets, but their is not one that will fit a smog pump. What about the PS?
Thanks guys. I look fwd to your suggestions.

You can lower the PS pump like they do in the Cartech Street kit, that should take care of the drivers side..

Great thread which I'll be watching as I'm interested in using the TTI headers. I just can't make myself go with the VECCO ones, but they have the right idea (keep all accessories). Anyway I was looking at March's site and found this pic of a setup for streetrods using 302-351's. Bit pricey though at $900+ -Leland

Yeah Josh, I'm gonna need you to send me those headers... Seriously, I can't beleive the turbo mounting flange is that close to the alternator. SN's sit in and closer to the head, which should theoreticaly offer more room. I know I tried my Fox Altern. bracket with the SN header I just made and it wouldn't fit. Yes you can have room with the smog pump on the pass. side if they built the header right and you were very carefull with the wastegate plumbing. CHeck out the pic in the stcky and you can see that in one pic I left the smog pump on. Some tweeking may have been required but I think it could have worked. Now for the EGR and then having decent plug access......

Those are just how TTI headers are for everyone, well less the wastegate flanges. They make all their headers out of 304 SS if memory serves me right.

They will fit properly. These are race headers, so they are not designed to run with accessories. I ordered them and got hem 2 weeks later.
I am using Fox accessories now.

Not really. I just thought they would fit the Fox alternator with out a hitch, that's all. Guess there is a hitch.

Cut them right where the 2.5" pipe meets the collector and rotate it. Might work for the drivers side also that may help clear the PS pump fill neck.

I vote to just CUT off a couple inches from the P/S filler neck. Worked for me in the past!
