I ordered my turbo from Limit Engineering approximately 5-7-03 based on recommendation from Steve Cole, the feature car from December 2002.  He had been running a pair of T66's from them to tune of 165mph in the quarter.  Once he told me what they do to their turbos and their prices I decided I would be ordering from them.  I also heard good things about them from a guy who runs a local Turbo and Diesel repair shop.  So I called and they said it normally takes only a few days to get the turbo shipped out when they have the parts in stock but they were waiting on wheels from Garrett.  I was in no hurry for it so I told them not to rush.  The turbo I ordered would require quite a bit of machining since I was getting a large wheel placed in the smaller 60-1 housing as opposed to the larger "T-series" housings most bigger turbos use.

After a few days I was told that the wheels were still on order and they were waiting on their shipment.  This continued for until about 5-28-03 when the told me that they had finally received their parts and they would start on my turbo ASAP.  1 week later the turbo was at my door.  It was packaged very well and it includes a turbo to header gasket, downpipe gasket and oil block gasket.  The turbo looks incredibly bitchin and of course everyone will know how it performs once my car runs again.  I am very impressed with John Craig and Limit Engineering.  They kept me in the loop at all times and their prices are very good.  If you are looking for a turbo you should definitely call them, you will get a nice turbo for a great price.  I received a turbo that required quite a bit of labor and paid a fair price.

Here is another review my Aaron Rouse aka Snipe656.  Coincidently he placed his order at abot the same time as me and his turbo required similar parts.

After not really liking how Turbonetics wanted to address upgrading my unused T72 turbo from them, I decided to look for another company to use for my new turbos. Upon looking around on the Buick board and seeing Limit Engineering and/or John Craig being highly recommended (even saw a thread where if people had the choice which would they pick John or PTE, more people said John), then seeing Greg O Brian, BK50, and Trent to name a few people on here also talking highly of the company, I decided to give them a shot for turbos.

I had them size turbos for my car based upon what my fuel system, injectors can handle and what size my motor is and so on. The first person I talked to there was very helpful, not sure what his name is any longer, but he openly said that he normally does not size turbos for V8 cars and I should talk to John as well. Talked to John later that day and he was very helpful, he walked through all of my combo with me and went through everything on his end and ended up recommending a pair of turbos using GT40 wheels, T04E housings, .81 AR and tang. instead of on-center, said the pair if pushed would be good for 1200hp which is fine by me since that would be about the max of what most of my parts can handle, plus I am shooting for much under than number anyway.

There were some delays getting them(nothing major though), which I found out later was due to some back orders nation wide. I did however tell them from day one that I was in no hurry at all for the parts since I am waiting on many other parts for the car.

Overall I am very happy with the experience, I liked that they did not require a deposit to start on the turbos and did not want to be paid until time to ship them. Also a big plus to me is they let me use Amex to pay for the units and at no extra charge over a cash transaction. My total was about $1500 shipped and that included both turbos, stainless gaskets (I received no charge for these, came with turbos), V-band clamps and then V-band tubes. The turbos themselves were $675 each.
